The Environmental Management Register can include land where a notifiable activity has been or is being carried out, as well as contaminated land.
Queensland examples include service stations, cattle dips, tanneries, wood-treatment sites, landfills, fuel storage and refuse tips. A register entry should be interpreted in the context of the recorded activity and site history.
